Warranty terms

Meridian Optics ensures that its products undergo strict quality control—from raw material sourcing through the entire manufacturing process.
Meridian Optics provides the original purchaser of Meridian Optics hardware products bought on the Meridian Optics website with a non-transferable, serviceable warranty and lifetime technical support.
Meridian Optics warrants to the original end customer that the products listed below are free from defects in materials and workmanship that affect form, fit, and function. Products are warranted to operate in the application specified at the time of purchase and to meet the datasheet specifications available on the Meridian Optics website or otherwise provided by Meridian Optics. Any claim that a product fails to meet these warranties may be made only by the customer who purchased the product, while that customer owns the product, and only while the product remains within its serviceable lifetime period.
If Meridian Optics determines that a product is defective, Meridian Optics may, at its sole discretion, repair the product, replace it, or issue a credit or refund up to the lesser of (i) the original purchase price or (ii) the product’s fair market value.
Certain systems using Meridian Optics products may be capable of operating outside the system manufacturer’s published specifications; however, Meridian Optics does not cover failures arising from operation under such conditions.
Meridian Optics reserves the right to use functionally equivalent new parts or serviceable used parts for repairs or replacements.
This warranty covers defects arising under normal use only and does not cover malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, electrical power issues, use not in accordance with product instructions, acts of nature, improper installation or operation, or repairs performed by anyone other than Meridian Optics or a Meridian Optics authorized third-party service provider.
Warranty limitations
During the applicable warranty period, Meridian Optics covers defects arising from normal use, including quality issues and shipping or logistics damage. For eligible warranty claims, Meridian Optics will cover round-trip freight costs for the warranty item.
Free warranty exclusions
- The product is outside the applicable warranty period.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized disassembly, modification, or other human-caused factors.
- Damage caused by natural events (including impact, fire, lightning, flooding) or negligence.
- Damage caused by improper operation or misuse, including damage to enclosures, power supplies, or related components during use.
- Customized orders may only be changed or canceled before manufacturing begins, unless otherwise approved by Meridian Optics.

Notes
- Requests to cancel, modify, or delete an order must be submitted before production starts.
- Customized orders that have entered production cannot be canceled.
